These photos were taken on my last day in London. It was so cold that the fountains in Trafalgar Square had frozen over. A blogger from Spain took my photo and told me he liked my style. Little did he know there was no style, just no suitcase space, meaning I was wearing my entire wardrobe.
This photo is of my Mum (blonde hair, black jacket) It was taken by an associate of Lord Lichfield, while she was living in London circa 1970. One day while living there, she answered the communal phone of her apartment. The caller was asking for mum's neighbour who wasn't home at the time. When she asked for a name, the caller said "Sean Connery." Mum replied "Yeah, yeah and I'm Mary Poppins" and hung up. A couple of days later, there was a knock at her door. She opened the door and standing there was her neighbour and Sean Connery who said "I just HAD to meet Mary Poppins!"
