Cambridge Satchel

OUTFIT INSPIRATION.

I continue to buy things that are really unnecessary, as the thrill of 'winning' an eBay auction continues to entice me . In saying so, I've just won a leather skirt for $6! It is a genuine leather pencil skirt that will be the perfect piece all year round.

Phoebe Philo's Resort collection follows her well-known minimalist aesthetic yet continues to surprise in its mix of adventurous design with classic tailoring. There's no doubt that Philo is one naturally cool woman- hell she's a rare breed that looks amazing with no makeup and whose designs have even been worn on stage at Coachella by Kanye.

The Resort collection sees trousers and polished outfits juxtaposed with garish floral print and oversize belts. I'm amazed by how it all came together and the ease in which it did so. My three favourite items are 1. The sheer latex trench (posing a welcome fashion challenge to the refined Céline woman)2. The fuschia pants (need I say more) and 3. The tailored leather pants (the perfect amount of sheen)

Milk From A Thistle is an up and coming label. This collection's delicate silks combined with bold stripes and stallion prints is amazing. The camel and black stripe dress is my favourite.

Stella McCartney's recent use of print and texture has been really refreshing. The fine knitwear paired with silk, the long-line blazer and little bows throughout the collection show how her collections continue to go from strength to strength. I expect to see the big wigs of the business draped in these creations until the next one rolls around.

J Crew

I have a legitimate obsession with J. Crew. But how can't you?
I need this sequined take on the classic breton top and I need it now!
